Rambis news has been dead recently. Unless I've missed something (and no one let me know). One bit of news is that Kurt's 2 episodes of 7th Heaven have been released in a two part video. Not sure if its part of a 7th Heaven line of tapes or what...but it is out. If a video store does not have it, try to email the 7th Heaven Website if you can find some sort of email address. Monday, August 28, 7:00 p.m. 7th Heaven episode "Hoop Dreams" is on.Mary dreams about playing basketball with players from the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hey everyone...Look at these great Rambis Glasses I got in the mail today from my buddy Tom. Tom is selling his final couple pairs on Ebay. Jerry West will officially announce his retirement Monday. In a related move, the team will name Kurt Rambis as assistant general manager. Rambis, a former Lakers forward and assistant coach, has been working as a consultant to Buss for the past year. He served as interim head coach for most of the lockout-shortened 1999 season.
Rambis, who served as an assistant to Jerry Buss
last season, a role that included scouting opponents and
analyzing some potential trades, confirmed that there have been
discussions about his taking a spot in the general manager's
office.
But Rambis, working under a
multi-year contract given to him by Buss after Rambis was
replaced by Jackson in June 1999, emphasized that the move has
not been finalized.
"Nothing official has happened
yet, so I really can't comment on it," said Rambis, who has
of late mainly focused on returning to the NBA head-coaching
fraternity after his brief Laker stint.
Rambis said that a front-office job
does interest him.
"I'm just looking for an
opportunity to work doing something," Rambis said.
"Both fields interest me. But sometimes you can't sit around
and pick the one you want, it kind of picks you."

Hey everyone...there is a Rambis gem on Ebay right now. My buddy Tom has a pair of Replica Kurt Rambis glasses on ebay. These are very rare and only the true Rambis maniacs have them. You might not see these again for awhile. The auction ends on August 3rd!

I just got an email from our good pal Harry Holzli who is gonna try to send me the page out of the XXL magazine that the Laker Jim Kurt Rambis Page is in. Harry, Thank you soooooo much. I cant wait to get it, I'll let everyone know when I get just how awesome it is. If Harry didnt sign my guestbook, i would have never known. I owe Harry allot. Great find Har.
